About The Position
Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ASIC Project Manager to lead and manage our mixed signal ASIC design projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in mixed signal design, excellent project management skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality ASIC products on time and within budget.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Plan, schedule, and manage mixed signal ASIC projects from concept to production.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Monitor and track project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to the design team.
- Oversee the design, verification, and validation of mixed signal ASICs.
- Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality design output.
- Team Coordination:
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including RTL design, verification, Analog design, layout, System, and algorithm engineers.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members.
- Manage and resolve conflicts and issues within the project team.
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including customers, management, and vendors.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and deliverables to stakeholders.
- Quality and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain processes for design verification and post silicon validation.
- Conduct post-project reviews and implement lessons learned to improve future projects.
Qualifications:
- B.Sc./M.Sc degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in ASIC design and project management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing mixed signal ASIC projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of mixed signal design, verification, and validation.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and risk management.
- Experience with industry-standard design tools and methodologies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Experience with agile project management methodologies.
